Dr. Veeraindar Goli is Professor Emeritus of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences at Duke University School of Medicine, with extensive experience in adult and geriatric psychiatry, chronic pain management, and anxiety disorders. Throughout his academic career, Dr. Goli has contributed to clinical research, multidisciplinary patient care, and the evaluation of innovative approaches to complex psychiatric and chronic pain conditions. As an MD Scholars mentor, he brings decades of academic and clinical experience to guide students interested in medicine, psychiatry, behavioral health, and clinical research.

In 2024, Dr. Anam joined Ochsner LSU Health Shreveport, driven by a keen interest in academics. With extensive research experience focused on patient education, he has published more than 20 manuscripts, garnering over 350 citations by 2023 and a book chapter. His current interests include glomerular pathology and hypertension, with a specific focus on medical education, particularly online education.

Sandeep Sasidharan, MD, is an Assistant Professor of Pulmonary Critical Care and Internal Medicine at the University of Florida School of Medicine in Jacksonville, and is triple board-certified by the ABIM in Internal Medicine, Nephrology, and Critical Care Medicine. He trained at Saint Vincent Hospital in Worcester, MA, and at SUNY Downstate, where he served as Chief Nephrology Fellow. He has published peer-reviewed work spanning nephrology, critical care, and general internal medicine, along with more than 40 abstracts presented at ASN, ATS, CHEST, SCCM, and ACP.

A dedicated educator and mentor to students, residents, and fellows, and a recipient of the Resident Advocate of the Year and EPIC Success awards for patient safety and quality improvement, he guides trainees through case-based and quality-improvement research, from question design to publication.

Dr. Subramaniam is a research scientist and scientific communications leader with 12 years of experience designing, conducting, and translating complex health research into actionable evidence for patients, clinicians, payers, and regulators. She specializes in patient-centered outcomes research, qualitative research methodology, and translating research findings into compelling scientific narratives.

Throughout her career, Dr. Subramaniam has led rigorous research across oncology, chronic disease, palliative care, and vaccines. She has authored and co-authored 32+ peer-reviewed publications and led 70+ scientific presentations at major conferences. Her work demonstrates a deep commitment to incorporating patient voice into research and drug development through qualitative methods including concept elicitation, cognitive interviews, and focus groups.

As a former Associate Professor, Dr. Subramaniam directed a portfolio of 15–20 concurrent research projects while mentoring 20+ junior researchers and graduate students. She built and scaled six graduate programs in health data science and health outcomes research, generating $5.6M in revenue. She currently operates a consulting practice advising pharmaceutical and biotech sponsors on patient-centered research strategy and scientific communications.

Dr. Dipti P. Subramaniam is a PhD-trained public health scientist and health outcomes researcher with more than 10 years of experience in academia, research, curriculum development, and scientific communication. She currently serves as an Associate Medical Director at IntegrityCE, LLC, where she applies her expertise in HEOR/RWE, scientific publications, and adult learning to the development of evidence-based continuing medical education programs.

Prior to joining IntegrityCE, she spent nearly a decade as a professor, where she led research and curriculum initiatives and developed research programs for medical students, providing learners with hands-on experience in research methodology and scientific writing. Throughout her academic career, she mentored learners across the training continuum, from undergraduate and medical students to graduate students, postdoctoral researchers, and clinical faculty.

Her scholarship spans oncology, chronic diseases, women's health, and vaccination behavior, with more than 20 peer-reviewed publications and presentations at national scientific meetings. She is also an active peer reviewer, Special Topics Editor at Frontiers, and a member of the American Medical Writers Association.

I am a recent graduate of Georgetown University, where I majored in Neurobiology and minored in Psychology on the pre-medical track. I began my journey as a scientist on Dr. Munigala's project, and progressed to do research in cognitive science, stroke rehabilitation, and primary care clinical research throughout my undergraduate career. I am currently working in Emergency Medicine as a technician, volunteering as an EMT, scribing, and working in EM research. In my free time, I enjoy cooking, staying fit, and watercolor painting.
